swedish manufacturer ‘arvid böhlmarks lampfabrik’ was one of the oldest swedish manfucturers and importers of lighting fixtures. it had a unique position as a manufacturer because it could produce everything in-house. it had a factory and sales shop in stockholm in two different locations and a glass manufacturing plant in the city of nybro, sweden. its catalogs for lighting fixtures were among the largest in scandinavia, with a few catalogs accounting for 150 pages(!)
böhlmarks collaborated with harald notini (who was an employee), alice nordin, gunnar asplund and sigurd lewerentz all of which designed lighting fixtures.
